Warranty and Product Usage Agreeement
TERMS:
Product: The LEVEL51 laptop or PC that you purchased from NantCom Co., Ltd.
You/Customer: The person who directly bought Product from NantCom Co., Ltd.
Our/Us/Company: NantCom Co., Ltd. The Company who sold You the Product.
Date of Purchase: The date that customer received our product.
Warranty: The warranty agreement you are reading.
The product you have purchased has been carefully inspected by our staff before shipping out to you. Every product receive at least the following checks
- Dead/Bright Pixel - there must be no Dead/Bright pixel on product's monitor
- Burn-in Test with FireStrike Combined Test using 3D Mark Program for at least 1 Hour. Usually it would be 8-10 Hours.
- Check the audio jacks that they can detect jack plugged in.
- Check that there is signal from HDMI and DisplayPorts
- Check that Power Adapter works by draining battery and charge the battery.
When you submit the order, you will receive SO Number which looks like : SO2XXXXXXX-XXXXX and confirmation email. You can refer to this number when contacting us or click the link in your email to follow the status update.
In an unlikely event of hardware failure after you have received the product - which may not present itself even though we have carefully tested them - CLEVO provides limited 1 year warranty. And we beleive our effort and rigorous testing procedure would pay off and we offer another one year warranty - so the total warranty period is 2 (TWO) years from the date of purchase. Unless you have bought additional warranty period from us which will extend the warranty period accordingly. However, battery and Power Adapter are covered by 9 months warranty from the date of purchase as specified by CLEVO warranty terms.
COVERAGE
We guarantee that product you receive from us will be free from manufacturing defects. Except: Paper Manual, Software and any other external devices.
During warranty period, we will do our best to fix the defect you have reported. This fix will be free of charge, both parts and service fee, during the warranty period. We reserve the rights to use compatible replacement part which has comparable or better performance to fix the product. The replacement part comes with 3 months warranty since the day replacement was installed in place of failed part or the remaining duration of original warranty - whichever longer.
We reserve the rights to decline warranty claim for defects from misuse, misapplication, accident, theft, natural disaster or any other causes that does not related to manufacturing defect.
The warranty is voided as soon as you receive refund for the product.
This warranty is non-transferable and only applicable to you only. If the product was purchased from other party - we reserve our rights to decline the warranty claim request.
Any physcial damage will immediately void the warranty for the screen. Please ensure you take proper precautions to protect your screen from scratches or any other damage.
OVERCLOCKING
Overclocking could potentially causes damage to hardware - even though it is possible to overclock via BIOS or Intel XTU or any other programs. Damage causes by overclocking does not covered by warranty.
DEAD PIXELS
We guarantee that the screen you receive will be free of dead/bright pixel and you have 3 days to report back to us if you found any. After 3 days, we will not be able to get a replacement for you unless there is 6 or more dead/bright pixel on the screen.
Backlight Leakage, Uneven Backlight does not covered by warranty and is not considered to be manufacturing defect.
WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURE
If you have any problems with the product, contact us via Facebook Page: http://m.me/level51pc and we will try our best to help remotely.
If we can confirm that the problem is hardware defects or you insist to have us take a closer look - we will get a logistic company to pick up your laptop to bring it in for repair. This will be free of charge if you choose On-site pickup/return warranty during checkout. However, if we later found out that issue is not caused by hardware failure or the problem could be fixed by reinstalling driver, software or Windows - we reserve the right to charge you for the cost of shipping both picking up from you and returning to you.
However, if you prefer to not use the logistic company even though you have On-site Pickup/return warranty - you could visit us at our office.
If you did not get the on-site pickup/return warranty - please feel free to ask us to get the logistic company to pick up your laptop anyway, which we will quote you later for the shipping costs.
DISCLAIMER
No LEVEL51 agent or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension or addition to this warranty.
If any term is held to be illegal or unenforceable, the legality or enforceability of the remaining terms shall not be affected or impaired.
EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN THIS WARRANTY AND TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LEVEL51 IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: LOSS OF USE; LOSS OF REVENUE; LOSS OF ACTUAL OR ANTICIPATED PROFITS (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS ON CONTRACTS); LOSS OF ACTUAL MONEY; LOSS OF ANTICIPATED SAVINGS; LOSS OF BUSINESS; LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY; LOSS OF GOODWILL; LOSS OF REPUTATION; LOSS OF, DAMAGE TO OR CORRUPTION OF DATA; DOWNTIME; OR ANY INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS OR DAMAGE HOWSOEVER CAUSED INCLUDING THE REPLACEMENT OF EQUIPMENT AND PROPERTY, ANY COSTS OF RECOVERING, REPROGRAMMING, OR REPRODUCING ANY PROGRAM OR DATA STORED IN OR USED WITH LEVEL51 'S PRODUCTS, AND ANY FAILURE TO MAINTAIN THE CONFIDENTIALITY OF DATA STORED ON LEVEL51 'S PRODUCTS.
